Ronnie White Endorses Donnelly

By Antonio D. French

Filed Monday, February 04, 2008 at 1:43 PM

Former Missouri Supreme Court Chief Justice Ronnie White today endorsed State Representative Margaret Donnelly for Missouri Attorney General. Judge White was the first African-American ever appointed to the Missouri Supreme Court. Rep. Donnelly is seeking to become the first woman ever elected attorney general in Missouri.

"Margaret Donnelly has had a distinguished career in public service and as a lawyer in her own practice," said Judge White. "She will make an outstanding Attorney General who understands the law and is representative of all Missouri."

"Judge White is a respected jurist and attorney," said Donnelly. "I am honored by his endorsement and all the support my campaign has received throughout Missouri."

Donnelly has also been endorsed by former Secretary of State Bekki Cook, former State Treasurer Nancy Farmer, former St. Louis City Prosecuting Attorney Dee Joyce-Hayes, and over 15 current state legislators.
