Our Friend, Steve Patterson

By Antonio D. French

Filed Monday, February 04, 2008 at 9:52 AM

Our thoughts and prayers are with our friend and fellow blogger Steve Patterson today.

The proud St. Louis urbanist and UrbanReviewSTL.com webmaster suffered a stroke over the weekend and remains in the hospital. He is in stable condition, but not out of the weeds just yet.

So if you're the praying type, Steve sure could use them right now.

Imagine, duckworth can use the "F" word along with "holy." Unbelievable! I wish he would be subjected to "Comment moderation has been enabled. All comments must be approved by the blog author."

What is meant by the "praying type?" Is there some bias or prejudice leveled at Christians or devout Jews or Muslims here?

Just wondering. Forgive me if I say, May God be gracious to Steve and enable him to recuperate.
