By Antonio D. French

Filed Sunday, January 27, 2008 at 3:11 PM

BREAKING NEWS

U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill broke the news at a press conference a few minutes ago: Barack Obama will be in St. Louis on Saturday for a 9:00 PM public event (no word yet where). That's just three days before Missouri and 20 other states get a chance to vote on the Democratic and Republican candidates.

More details as they become available...

What a great weekend for Obama! The SC win, the absolute fantastic speech he gave, Caroline and Ted Kennedy, STL Post, Philly Enquirer and SF Chronicle, and now Sebeleus of Kansas. All while Clinton works on her mighty theft of the Florida, with all watching. GO OBAMA!

Does MO-Bama mean Missouri, Momentum, or both!!!

This campaign is moving strongly toward Feb 5th. Also it seems that Democrats are realizing the Hillary may be a drag on the ticket due to her exceptionally high unfavorable ratings (at 50% in the latest post-dispatch poll)

Saturday is Mardi Gras Grand Parade Day in Soulard, Election Day is Fat Tuesday. Obama Beads (affix your Obama button to strand of beads) will be the appropriate fashion statement over the next week, according to my super model acquaintences.

Hillary's people were trying to hand out her stickers and lit at Dog Parade yesterday. Trying to sticker people at big events makes sense. Trying to hand out lit to people with dog leashes in one hand and beer/food/baby stroller in the other hand is goofy.

Where is Eric Vickers' letter asking Sen. Obama to stay away from St. Louis?

Isn't Mr. Vivkers the leader of the boycott? Isn't the boycott meant to harm all white people in St. Louis?

We are all waiting to see how the Senator handlings this one.

If he flies here then the City of St. Louis will make money off of the airport fees. Then the cost of fuel to drive him to the event, likely this fuel is purchsed in St. Louis.
I hope the Senator does not get hungry because then they will have to purchase food in St. Louis too!

Mr. Vickers had better call the Senator right now and tell him, "thanks but no thanks. We hate all white folks here and you can't come until people pay me money...er...I mean people let me pratice law...um...I mean, No justice, (and money to me) no peace!"
