AUDIO: McCaskill Checks Bill Clinton

By Antonio D. French

Filed Friday, January 25, 2008 at 9:07 AM

Senator Claire McCaskill told reporters yesterday that President Bill Clinton was playing "fast and loose" with the facts when attacking Senator Barack Obama on his wife's behalf.

"Because of the larger megaphone he has as a former president," said McCaskill, an Obama supporter, "he needs to be very careful with the truth. … He has tried to manipulate the facts in a way that is patently unfair."

It truly amazes me, how McCaskill can say President Clinton tried to manipulate the facts in a way that is patently unfair.

GIVE ME A BREAK - IT'S POLITICS' Lady. . .

H. Clinton and B. Obama and their campaigns including their spouse's Michelle & Bill both have exchanged increasingly hard-hitting jabs over race, votes on the Iraq war, and other issues.

Bill is just more in tune with the media and you hear everything he has to say more so than Michelle.

For me personally, It would be nice if all the Democratic presidential nomination would stay focused on their differences with public policy issues, but I don't blame Bill or Hillary - its call "D-FENCE", you should counterpunch.

Besides, I remember not to long ago when her race hinged directly on the stem cell issue. Claire McCaskill ousted Republican incumbent James Talent and won because she hammered him "like a nail to a fence post" on his vote against DeGette's bill.

She even went as far as getting, celebrities to also plunge into the campaign like actor Michael J. Fox, suffering from Parkinson’s disease, to endorsed the amendment, while several sports stars ( I won't say who they are) spoke against it.

And please tell me - is there any more evidence now that destructive embryo research is going to bring cures" than there was before the election. Hell No Claire.

Like the pot calling the kettle black.

Why would a republocrat like anonymous 2:35 be taking up for Billary? Because Bill Clinton's history is to do not much of anything except lose congress to the republicans, use questionable intelligence aboput wmd to bomb Iraq, and help Bush defeat Al Gore with his "recreation" and disbarment, and last minute pardons.

It is not ordinary politics---it is the elect us and the hell with everything else dead end Clinton politics.

You must not be Black at all anon #1. When white people start complaining about the Clintons in "Liberal land" something must be wrong. Unfortunately, this has turned into racial politics due to the Clintons

A) New Hampshire - Clinton broke down getting teary-eyed. Is she going to do that in a meeting with Ahmaddinajad of Iran?

B) New Hampshire (in the same speech) she refers to Barack's ability to give inspiring speeches. From that point on her speeches became inspirational and not so dry.

C) Clinton talks about caring for minorities. Next day after SC debate she flies to west coast.

D) Clinton denies photo with Rezco, the same guy (developer) that she accused Barack of knowing in a scandal. And that was under the Clinton administration. Look at the hair it gives away the timing)

E) Day after SC debate, she says Obama looked scripted. In fact she looked scripted as it was evident she was searching for the words to describe a misguided description of the Rezco guy. Obama was very clear about her Walmart ties. And remember, she never denied it.

F) Commercials in SC - again misguided - stated Obama was an admirer of Reagan and repulcan policies. The truth is Obama never said that and she in fact was quoted in a book of admitting Reagan as one of her favorite presidents of all time.

GIVE US A BREAK HILLARY! Karl Rovien tactics supreme. Here's her strategy. Identify her own weakness and tag it on Obama to try to pre-empt the media from saying the same thing about you.

Again, when white liberal start hate'n on Hillary, something must be wrong.

Hope Tim Ruessert reads this one.
