Secretary of State Robin Carnahan has approved for circulation a petition drive to get on the 2008 ballot a measure to ban most abortions in the state.Attorney General candidate Chris Koster* picked up the endorsement of the Missouri Fraternal Order of Police.
Democrat Mike Evans dropped out of the race for lieutenant governor, leaving the nomination open for State Rep. Sam Page.
