One Protest Off, Another One On

By Antonio D. French

Filed Saturday, December 01, 2007 at 9:08 PM

The Clinton campaign may have dodged an embarrassing protest by a group opposed to one her biggest local supporters, Mayor Francis Slay, but the New York senator's support for the Iraq War is bringing out another group of protesters — and they'll be wearing pink!

The women's anti-war group, CodePink, is targeting Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton not just for her votes in favor of the war in Iraq, but also for not ruling out a possible preemptive strike on Iran.

"As Clinton travels throughout the country, CodePink, a national women's peace organization, has focused on educating the public about Clinton's war profiteering," states the group's press release.

"Hillary Clinton has received more money from employees of the top five U.S. arms manufactures than any other Presidential candidate, including leading Republicans," the release goes on to say.

"She has voted to authorize Bush's war on Iraq and she voted against legislation to ban the sale of cluster bombs for use in civilian areas. Clinton has also supported controversial legislation that would not rule out attacking Iran," charges CodePink.

Clinton's event at The Pageant is Sunday at 6:00 PM. Learn more at www.HillaryClinton.com/StLouis.

It's amazing how someone more Republican than the Republicans, when it comes to Iraq, among other issues, has the arrogance to come to St. Louis and charge for attendance at her rally. I can't imagine people really like someone as fake as her, I assume it's just that people think she's the only candidate out there. As she's exposed and people realize there is a viable Democrat out there that holds Democrat views, Barack Obama, she's going to continue to lose support. You can see that with her recent, childish, desperate attacks on Obama.

It's like one of those ancient tales; the Oracle proclaims: "No man can beat Hillary." Which is true, because these pink gals are going to be Hillary's downfall!

You go Pink Ladies! Hilary is a Republican in Democrat clothing. Almost 4000 troops dead and for what...OIL. For a candidate with integrity, honesty and one that embraces peace, DENNIS KUCINICH is the only choic

I was part of the "pink police" and when we encouraged those waiting in line to join us in anti-war songs, they were quieted. Could it be that their support for Clinton surpasses their desires to end the war? If these people are truly the liberals they so claim to be, then it would only seem natural that they would have no qualms about denouncing the war and additionally, questioning Clinton's voting record as a senator. Additional research would easily prove that she's making big bucks off this war. It would not make too much sense for her to end the war when her pockets are growing larger.

Anybody who got on a bus and went to Jena, Louisiana to protest unequal justice, should get off their lazy rear ends and protest in their home town now!

The day following the protest, the senate passed the juvenile crimes bill that allows federal prosecution of our children for crimes already committed that are being adjudicated in juvenile court. The discretion of the police and others in the judicial system can determine when this law is used based on their interpretation of whether or not the crime is gang related and the style of dress and number of people involved are the criteria. That violates the right to assembly.

This sh** is unconstitutional at best but Billary, and Barack voted for it.

Billary is no democrat and neither is her husband. They are active participants of the shytstem and full of BUSHit!
