Last week at a press conference in city hall, parents angry at the results of Mayor Francis Slay's years of involvement with the city's public schools joined with organizers of the effort to remove him from office.
The group is angry about Slay's new plan to rapidly expand the number of charter schools in the city. Charter schools are funded by St. Louis Public Schools, which is mandated to pay the schools based on their number of students.
"There has been approximately $60 million diverted from the St. Louis Public Schools," said State Rep. Jamilah Nasheed. "If we want to fix the St. Louis Public Schools we can not continue to take from the St. Louis Public Schools."

I don't believe the job involves recalls of people you don't like.
So why can't Niecy Williams (Jamilah Nasheed) just go back to the streets where she was brought up? Surely, there's a corner just ripe for her IGNOR-ance.
Let's just see what she can do from the state?

Purdy gave Dunlap Floyd Irons job. Enos Moss says Purdy had this set up for a while. Fire a black man and give the job to the whit man's friend. So Irons is suing Bill Purdy.

Jim Gant had 17 allegations of child abuse (ask Ken Brostron) against him during his career with the St. Louis Public Schools, Purdy protects him. He is gone for three years before Riverview Gardens puts him out on his ear. Six people that were going to be fired or demoted from Riverview Gardens now work for the SLPS.)Purdy boy)
David Jackson handles minority contracts for Rick Sullivan.
Dianna Bourisaw lied to Kent King and thought she was too smart to get caught.
Floyd Irons is going to a Federal Prison. The killer of Timothy Bacon still is at large. Hope he give up some names. lets be fair to Steve Warmack, Floyd's audits were pretty bad also.
A continuing sub at Northwest is arrested for drug trafficking.
Steve Warmack stole chip money and tempoary ID money. (Purdy Boy).
Sam Dunlap a man that never worked a day in his life, winds up getting Floyd Irons job without the certification that the job had listed (Purdy boy)
Chip Clatto (Bourisaw boy) makes more money than any other district administrator.
Sharonica Hardin runs Human Resources. Ooh boy.
If you get fired from Normany you can come work for the SLPS (as long as you continue to talk to Floyd Irons).
Shiela Smith Anderson runs the New Administraors program but was only a principal for one year.(It's suprising what you can find on google)
John Martin needs to get a roll away bed for those times when he just can't keep his eyes open.
Despite what Rick Sullivan says, Joan Bray will not nominate him.
Teffari is running academics in Wellston. Oh boy!
Donna Jones can't get the marker off her face. She likes Aldi's baloney.
Jane Cunningham needs to be applauded for even bringing up the issues of child abusers in the state. She could have a field day with the SLPS.
With all due respect to the people in the fine city of St. Louis, we have a lack of functioning brain cells. We have allowed this to go on for too many years and wonder why it is such a mess.
Let's be fair to Gant and Purdy what about James Biney an his Mahoney.
Kathy Wessling is worried about filling up the vacanntcies in the magnet schools with black kids because we don't have enough white kids. Why don't we fix the problems so that all kids would want to attend the St. Louis Public School.
And people are worried about Barry Bonds.Go figure.

Everything isn't about Veronica O'Brien school board members. It is true Irons sued the district because Purdy and Bourisaw gave his job to Bill Purdy's long time friend. Sam Dunlap.
Go to case net. don't think O'brien controls the court system.
Percy Green is also suing the district. They say he is splitting the settlement with Donna Jones.

The riverfront Times did a big story about where city official kids go to school.
O'Brien made it clear when she was appointed where her kids go to school. They are at a private school in the burbs. Jake at the Post told this is the first story that he wrote about her and so did Slay.
Flint's children also are in private school. Lewis's kids are in a Charter School. The superintendant and Sullivan send there kids elswhere and they don't even live in the city.
I have to say it is hard to believe that the union leader sends his kids to another district.

Someone is a bit misinformed here.
Byron Clemens lives in Clayton, and many teachers live in North County, Brentwood, East St. Louis, you name.
Since he lives in Clayton, that is where his child attends school (a natural and logical fact).
The union has nothing to do with the City of St. Louis, only with the school district that has teachers and staff from in St. Louis and all around St. Louis.
So, what's the big deal? Seems like a no-brainer to me.

Yes, and they have the right to seek the recall of the mayors of Clayton, Brentwood, East St. Louis, etc. Those carpetbaggers can go stand with the Danforths and leave the city of St. Louis to actual city residents!

Being objective does not mean anyone has a big hate against O'Brien. Fact is fact. She somehow got grades that probably weren't merited in either high school or college and, as one of her former drinking buddies and friends said about her, she tries to get whatever dirt she can on others to blackmail them. That friend is no longer a drinker nor a buddy to Veronica. It is just recognized that she has a big hate against many others.
