Reverend James Morris told the crowd of hundreds gathered in front of City Hall yesterday that he could no longer sit by in good conscience and allow this city to be divided for political gain.
"There is a time to pray," said Morris, a candidate for state representative. "Then there is a time to get up off your knees and go to work."

What an absolute embarassment these pseudo-preachers are, them and their whole rent-a-picketer racket. Talk about biting off more than you can chew!! Do they really think, do YOU who read this blog really think, that people give a good hot yawn over the likes of a Sherman George? Sherman friggin' George,for God's sake!! No one cares outside of Sylvester Brown and Mrs George.

As stated before, this is our only source for reliable information in the African American community now that WGNU has removed our drive time hosts from the airwaves. There's no Onion, Tim & Syl, Lizz...Antonio is doing an awesome job of keeping us informed. Anyone who says otherwise just wants to silence the community and keep everyone in the dark.

If this is the only reliable source of news for African Americans, I feel for all those uninformed blacks with no computer access, but I guess that is Slay's fault too.

All these folks that hate it when black folks stand up need to be black for a few days and see the hell that we go through..Go to the mall and check out the stares...get on the elevator with a white person and see the uneasiness of the white person standing next to you..Ask a white person ..does he have the time...that person will give you the time but will hesitate like hell thinking you are a criminal even if you have on a three piece suit..slow down when the traffic light turn and stop..Look into your rearview mirror..If you see a white police officer behind you and you look at him..he may think that you are suspicous. He may think that you are up to something ..stop you... run your plates to see if you have warrants..so just try it...Holloween is coming up soon..put on Black costume and see how it feel to be black for a few days.....Remember I'm not speaking of all white folks ..but there are so many that keep the races divided..its not us..we don't control the system...

Hello, 1950's it is good to hear from you again.
Seriously, most people are beyond that. I feel bad for people that are not. Black folks, you are not the only people to feel discriminated against but to hear you speak the world is against you. How defeatist. My people don't speak like that and last time I checked, I'm the one that even you stare at at the airport.
Get over yourselves and stop blaming everyone else.
