we were talking on Ben Smith's blog about Hillary's trap door ad (most of us thought it was not very impressive)---I am now on record---answering Kevin---I want a special debate between first spouse candidates Mrs. Obama and Mr. Clinton:

I think Michelle Obama says it best: Sometimes we wear the same suit even if its got holes in it. We need a new suit, not just a new tie or new pants. Obama is the real change! OBAMA 08...soon Hillary will steal that slogan too

I think it would be neat to have Michelle Obama and Bill Clinton debate about pants.

Shillary Clintoon is to this race what Paris Hilton is to pop culture. New York is a historically Dem stronghold with the most permissive residency requirements in the nation. She practically ran unopposed. The Empire State has gained little more than the notereity of having a former first lady occupy their seat in the US Sentate. She sat silently in the background, doing very little and saying less. I guess that was to keep the world from hearing details of how she financiall undermined Al Gore's Presidential run in 2000, using Big Dog's clout to drain the DNC coffers to fund her run to the Senate.

Granted, nothing amply prepared anyone to be Presidient of the United States. Still, a candidate's government service record should look better than the White House Post Master's resume. She failed the DC bar, not the most difficult bar exam to pass. Before that, there was the business of White Water, and the first failed HMO that promised great wealth to the healthcare and insurance industries while covertly denying poor folks access to doctors and medical services. Then, she was duped by the Chimperor into advocating the US attack and occupy a sovereign nation that was no threat to us on the humbug of weapons that don't exist. Sure, she's got the endorsement of a popular former President, but she is married to the guy. So, his opinion of her is biased, and, considering their marriage, quite possibly coersed under tremendous duress.

Let's be reasonable. The DNC is not desperate enough to annoint Shillary, especially in a field as rich with talent and experience as this one with Kucinich, Dodd, Richardson, Edwards, Gravel, and even the newby Obama. Furthermore, Team Shillary is not going to be able to continue to sheild old girl by hand picking her audiences and the questions she can be asked to govern her exposure and her public image. Having raised more money than Fort Knox holds only takes a candidate so far. Right now, she has more corporate sponsorship than the NASCAR Chevy driven by Dale Earnhardt Jr. These corporate beasts need her to win so they can continue the legacy of corporate personhood vicariously running us into the ground Halliburton Style they began during the horrific reign of the Chimperor and Cheney Vader. She can only whoop so much game for so long before folks wake up to her tactics.

She's arisen high enough now where taking her down is every candidates' motive these days. The questions are about to be harder and more unfamiliar to her. Questions like why hasn't she joined Kucinich and Rep. Lee from Texas in supporting HR333, demanding the impeachment of Richard Bruce Cheney FIRST. Or, why hasn't she continued the investigation of 9/11, being the Senator for New York? Or what was her stance on the Ports Dubai deal that offered to sell our port to potential enemies, with so many global trade hovels located in New York? Though she hasn't been hit with anything tough to date, already she's desperately clutching at straws, doing crap like playing the boob flash card to distract us from the fact that she is about as fit to be the President as I am to take wings and fly.

Any candidate who has to resort to going on The View to lament the inconvenient burden of her political sex appeal is NOT going to be the next President. The sad truth is what she whines is her burdensome sex appeal is really only gender appeal to the oil of olay set who want to see one of their own be President. The rest of America, more than ready for a woman to be President, want any woman but her or Condi Rice to apply for the job.
