finally we have a way to get developement in the North side and not just the South side. Complain all you want but I am tired of seeing progress in the South and then watching the continuous parade of people leaving my Mother's neighborhood. I just hope after we begin to save the Northside we can continue our progress and get rid of Nasheed and Troupe. We must elect better people this next time. I am tired of being embarassed by my Alderman and State Rep.

What is wrong with Troupe, he now supports the Bill?

One thing more development will bring in is more/different voters who may have different expectations from their elected officials.

I could see some individual aldermanic resistance to changing their ward too much. That is a little pre-mature, I know.

The overwhelming bipartisan support for the bill blunts (no pun intended) the partisan political fallout. It helps demonstrate how little difference there really is between the two major parties.

Or oracle, could it help demonstrate how easy it was for McKee to buy democratic votes? And for the St. Louis delegation to sell out North City to County developers?

The high dollar donations went to republicans, there is little difference between the parties.
