Restraining Order Hearing Continues

UPDATE... Arguments are still being made by attorneys from both sides in Cole County Circuit Judge Richard G. Callahan's courtroom as opponents of the state takeover of St. Louis Public Schools push for a temporary restraining order.

Callahan has until Friday, the day the state is scheduled to strip SLPS of its accreditation, to make his decision.

so I call Antonio on the radio several weeks ago, and ask---can you clarify the legal situation? and he tells me something I had not thought of----there could be an injunction on the last possible day before the takeover.

so--

I am wondering if the judge has not already made up his mind---but will wait---making them name the two other members, first.

I wonder if Slay is nervous enough about the court case that he does not want his choice to face the embarrassment of being chosen to a post which will not yet be allowed to exist.

I would give my right arm to be around when Slay and V. O'Brien receive word that all of their antics to destroy SLPS were in vain! Their facial expressions at their defeat will be priceless!This judge will rule against their scheme and they will also be defeated on an appeal!
