STLMedia.net reports that WGNU 920 AM, home of radio show host Lizz Brown, has been sold to BDJ Radio Enterprises, the company that owns KXEN 1010 AM.

According to the press release, the change of ownership will probably occur sometime in September or October. "There have been no decisions made at this time about format changes," says the release.

Lizz Brown has the highest ratings on the station. However, none of the talk shows make the station money. They survive off of the weekend religious programming which pays for its air time.

The future of WGNU? Toast. Talk radio has too much competition.

They don't fire people. She purchaces time from them to do her show and gets reimbursed from her advertisements and "other" deals that she works out.

Say what you like, Lizz Brown made WGNU what it was, all the other talk show host were all free loaders and should have paid their dues. Lizz is an attorney and will do just fine. SO STOP HATEING
