Vickie Newton is a very nice woman but she will never-ever, ever, ever compare to Richelle Carey, what a mistake Channel 4 made not retaining her for the Anchorwoman! Channel 4's loss is CNN's gain! Channel 4's ratings in the morning have steadily declined since her departure.
Well, I guess it will be late nights watching CNN, instead of early mornings waking up to a bright, intelligent, cheerful, georgeous, beautiful, and volumptous Richelle Carey on Channel 4. OHHHH is she missed.
Life just isn't fair sometimes.

Richelle Carey is too young for local anchoring duties and she has aspirations bigger than what the local television market offers!

Vickie Newton is a much better Anchorwomen that Carey. Carey was/is too young and have a lot to learn about life. I stop watching the channel 4 news in the morning becasue of Carey. You could never take her serious, she played too MUCH! St. Louis need to be thankful that Vickie is here. Channel 4 should get a new anchorman that can keep up!

Vickie is a nice person and very professional. We need more postive black women as role models in the st. louis area.
