Just days before they could be stripped of their power, the St. Louis Board of Education will meet tonight to elect its officers. Labels: Schools
Current Board Vice-President Bill Purdy has led the Board since Veronica O'Brien was removed as President by a 6-0 vote on April 12.
Sources point to newly-elected member David Jackson as a possible front-runner for the top spot.
UPDATE: Peter Downs beat out Jackson by a vote of 4-3.
