One of the earliest supporters of Public Defender, the newspaper and precursor to PubDef.net, was Marti Frumhoff. Her excitement, enthusiasm, and support in those early days helped keep that short-lived and underfunded venture going for as long as it did. Labels: Deaths
But those who knew Marti know that her support for such underdog efforts was a staple of her personality and her effort to help rebuild this city which she loved. She will be missed.

Marti will be missed. She was a force that propelled the City to be better.
The City should honor her in some way.

Marti was one of the nicest, most generous, wonderful people I've ever met. The world, especially St. Louis, will be greatly diminished by her absence.
If anyone has any knowledge of her animals, I'll gladly at least foster Ivy, the shepherd, for as long as it takes to finder her a proper home. If you have details on that, please contact pircher at gmail.com

Dear Friends of Marti Frumhoff:
We are officially launching Marti's Tower Grove South Memorial Park site.
We need you support in making this happen and providing for long term maintenance of the Memorial in TGS.
10th ward Alderman Joe Vollmer is actively working with us to actualize our vision of the space.
We have the support of the TG Business Association.
Professional horticulturist and TGS resident Peggy Hoelting has volunteered her time and talent to designing the Memorial Garden.
We need donations to make this happen, please consider helping us honor Marti.
