I would have supported Sam Page if he hadn't voted for Blunt's health care bill. As a result, I can no longer support him

^Interestingly enough, the very same point was asserted in exactly the same language -- and disproved -- over on ACC.

The comment was not disapproved. Here is the my post at the Arch City Chronicle.
I spent a lot of time in the Capitol on this issue so I think I know what I am talking about. Page took three votes on the bill. He voted for it in committee. It is true that he voted against the Conference Committee product and it is also true that was different than the House Committee Substitute. You use word strikingly dissimiliar. That is a little strong both bills failed to restore hardly anyone to helth care and that is the main point.
But you fail to mention Page other vote which was against the House version of the bill. The House version of the bill actually was better than the committee substitute. Pretty clear what was going on. He flipped flopped. Now at least he flopped in the right place. But I cannot emphasize enough the disappointment in the advocacy community that he voted for a bill that failed to restore the more than 100,000 Missourians that Governor Lunt kicked off health care. The rumour, which may or may not be accurate, is that he cut a deal with Jetton. A number of us saw him in and out of the speaker's office near the end of session.
