But starting next week, the reports, opinions and views of a few new contributors will be added to the mix.
These invited guests will bring their own unique perspectives to this expanding discussion of local (and soon national) politics, media, education, race, economics, and much more — all while maintaining Pub Def's reputation for accuracy, honesty, speed, and relevancy.
The fun begins Monday.

While I am looking forward to the new direction, it's worth noting that you have been pretty amazing as a one man show for the past year and a half. I hope this move keeps you from burning out on this endeavor. We really need voices like yours in our community to balance the traditional media.

Thanks, Adric. Honestly, I have been close to completely burning out following the March election. I needed a little rest this week.

Ironic that while PubDef is expanding its operations, other news outlets are cutting back correspondents. Congratulations Antonio!

Some suggestions---
1. how does Tim Bacon's mother feel about all that has transpired in the last year. Would it be too cruel to ask?
2. Is there any chance that the 3 man board will quickly re-establish accreditation?---the rules of procedure with dese look extraordinarily loose.
3. How is the lawyer Champagne regarded around town?
4. Does ksdk look really foolish for saying that there was a no stone unturned fbi investigation of Floyd Irons? No follow up by anyone.
5. Back in February, there was a long list of locally elected democrats who were opposed to the state takeover. How deeply felt was that opposition---has it shifted?
6. What do people in the parochial school administration think about the possible impact of their best students having possible rights to quit paying tuition by enrolling in county public schools---tuition and transportation payed?
