They could do a local version of the st.louis media covering the murder of Timothy Bacon. It would make a one panel cartoon, with several people yawning, and the others shrugging their shoulders.

mr. leith,
Something we agree on!

This video illustrates why I don't mind low-turnout elections. If the majority of citizens believe (support) the "mainstream (for lack of a better term) media", then I don't want the majority to vote.

Well, Mr. Heger, I interpret your punctuation to mean you intend to communicate reasonable certainty on this point. I have a sneakin' hunch there might be more agreement between us than this, but far be it from me to draw even the most tenative of conclusions.

We have arrived in Jefferson's own vision of a disaster: a democratic form of government coupled with an anti-intellectual electorate who think the destructive behaviors of spoiled rich kids are news. This is one reason I'm not too broke up over the loss of power by the elected school board. Of course, they lost it to a similarly elected executive. I am not optimistic.

LOL...I deserve the sarcasm, sorry if I was abrupt (rude). I'm sure there are a few things we agree on.

I am interested in a decent plan for real campaign finance reform.

I am glad we can have a sense of humor. Someday we should meet for a cup of coffee and a higher-bandwidth communication channel.
