The Springfield debate will be moderated by KY3 News Anchor Jerry Jacob and the panel will include KY3 Political Reporter Dave Catanese, Springfield News-Leader Editorial Board Editor Tony Messenger (what a great name for a reporter) and KSMU Senior Governmental Affairs Reporter Missy Shelton.
The candidates will also meet in Lake Ozark on September 15, at the Missouri Press Association's Candidate’s Forum, and in Washington, D.C. on October 8, for a debate on NBC's "Meet the Press."
We're told that both campaigns are continuing to work together to schedule additional debates in other regions of the state -- St. Louis, anyone?

The web site of Libertarian senate candidate Frank Gilmour lists a candidate debate at Washington University on Monday, October 2. Anybody know anything about this?

McCaskill debating against Jim Talent in rural areas on TV is a bad idea for Mc Caskill.
McCaskill needs to get a beauty makeover for this debate and try to look as glamorous as possible. If she comes across the TV screen looking like a hard woman she will lose votes.
Mc Caskill needs to come across as a beautiful woman that is intelligent to win this debate, instead of a tough, angry, and aggressive woman that is intent on showing that a woman can be a man!!

Well people can't help the way you look Star Jones, but maybe you are beautiful inside. We really don't know you that well.
Unfortunately, the reality of life is that people do judge you according to your appearance, and only the people that are insecure about their appearance don't accept this reality.
It is time for you to wake up and smell the coffee, Star Jones! Your face may be one that only a mother could love, but your mouth does not allow one to consider your face because it is so damn big!!
