With TD and Jamilah going to Jeff City, looks like Eddie Hassan wants to be the new political patriarch of North City. But rather than unify northsiders before 2008, when Maida will be termed-out, Hassan's crew will continue to further divide the northside to the benefit of southside politicians in cross-city races.

I wouldn't include Jamilah Nasheed in the same group of allegiance to Eddie Hasan.

Nasheed's personal opinion of Eddie Hasan is far lower than what you think it is.

The fact of the matter is that Hasan is less influencial today than he was yesterday. He has freshman state rep as a son-in-law, a mountain of debt from this campaign and his struggling newspaper, and burned bridges in every direction.
