Former Presidential Candidate General Wesley Clark will in Missouri tomorrow to help raise money for Claire McCaskill in her campaign against U.S. Senator Jim Talent. Labels: U.S._Senate_Race
"At a time when so much needs to be fixed, we can't afford 6 more years of 'maybe'," wrote Clark in a letter to supporters of his WesPAC. "We need strength, we need independence, and we need clarity and conviction," referencing the time it took for Talent to announce his position on stem cell research.
Clark will join McCaskill at Talayna's Restaurant in Chesterfield, on the southwest corner of Olive and Woods Mill Rd, tomorrow from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Chesterfield... right in Talent's base.
She needs those votes, but she better not forget the City.

Thank you to all those who attended the luncheon to support Claire McCaskill yesterday (07/21/06) in Chesterfield. General Clark spoke passionately, encouraging Democrats to be proud of who they are and what they stand for, to not be afraid to oppose Republicans at all fronts: at the watercoolers of corporate America, on the airwaves of conservative talk shows, etc. Wes encouraged us to stand up and fight for Democratic values and fight for votes for Democratic candidates in our area. PLEASE, all Missourians, choose to spend your free time helping Democrats win elections -- contact and join WesPAC today, donate your time, donate your extra cash, and let's take back America! Feel free to contact me to learn more about how you can help...Lisa Young, WesPAC Missouri State Coordinator, www.securingamerica.com
