Antonio, I didn't see on Steve's blog or the KSDK story any reference to the owner. How do you know that the condo belongs to Police Board President Chris Goodson? And, what do you think was the motivating factor (the condos themselves, or Police Board related issues)?

Channel 4 also reported this morning that Goodson was the owner. Considering the other fire at the same time, and the owner of that property had condos torched a few weeks ago, I think it's probably more condo-related than Police Board-related.

The owner of the condos is a company called Gilded Age. The Secretary of State's website shows Chris Goodson as one of the principals in the company.

Goodson also appeared on Channel 5's 6:00 report.

Antonio, good digging and reporting. I'm surprised KSDK missed this.
